RE:RE:What are LFE buyers seeing today?LFE volume is not insignificant. Maybe I'm wrong but it's hard to believe there are that many newbies out there blindly throwing money into this without some DD.

The only thing I can surmise is we are entering a long phase of fiscal tightening, one we have not seen in years. Perhaps some are betting on improved numbers for insurers in this new higher inflation/rate environment. We all need insurance and the average Canadian is actually over-insured globally speaking so higher inflation could boost the bottom line.

Personally, I am not looking to take that kind of risk given the premium. It remains to be seen where it will go but this article does hint that modest inflation will be good for the sector.

are there so many 'noob' investors or do they know something that i don't know?
there is absolutely no way i'm going to pay this crazy premium for a split share fund that's below $15 nav threshold.
