RE:RE:RE:RE:MRC Argenteuil nominates Mayor Tom Arnold of GSLR

RE:RE:RE:RE:MRC Argenteuil nominates Mayor Tom Arnold of GSLR I agree with GunsnRoses here.  Arnold's new position means very little.  Alex, it all comes down to the four things: (1) Will the mine provide much needed jobs for the community? check (2) Will the mine provide necessary provincial tax revenue to support GSLR? check (3) Will it help reduce Quebec's carbon footprint in northern communities? check (4) If by some freak of nature Quebec rejects Miller as a mine, will it push billions of dollars of mining business away from that province? check. Why the heck would the province shoot themselves in the foot like that??!  Your song and dance about precious sugar maples and how Miller is going to be protected means nothing.  There are a billion+ trees in quebec with an abundance of sugar maples and over 100 million trees planted annually. Miller on the other hand was used as an ATV/dirt bike trail with a few areas for hunting. Why in the world would anyone think Miller should be used as that when it can generate hundreds of millions of dollars or possibly billions by becoming a clean mine? Its illogical.
