Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

Bad timing Hightown , you may have just walked into my windmill blades by accident . Let me say , I apologize if I was wrong and I will give you the benefit of the doubt . Welcome to the daylight , there are serious posters here who are very good and happy to asnswer questions but have zero patience for chicken little panic or whining . Hopefully you get some answers

I think I am on the smart side, but have been known to say stupid things, so the jury is out.

A long time lurker that finally made an account because I was getting tired of certain dipsticks proclaiming the sky was falling for Baytex...when EVERY stock across the board was being hit similarily!

I will never be able to add the wisdom to this board that others can, and I even managed to control myself and not directly respond to the famous 5. I will continue to firmly believe in Canadian Oil and Gas, and Baytex is one of my favorites.
