RE:Ground Rules for New InvestorsThat there is discussion at all on how to treat new posters on this board is proof itself how toxic this board is. It is THE bullboard version of Lord of the Flies. Complete with it's own Ralf, Jack, and Piggy. I'll let other folks decide who on the board are the characters and who holds the conch and who the monster is. And which faction they are in. The only difference is that in the novel, there was an internal pool of kids. On the bullboard, there will be many newcomers hopefully. Fresh meat.

The question is how to treat these new investors, some of whom will become posters.
Right now we have 2 factions:
The NBB consisting of STT, MM and AB
The Beachboys consisting of all other posters but not limited to Me, Hmmmmmm, Pez and the always miserable Daviking. This list is much longer but these are the only ones I can think of that post regularly, without putting much thought into it. Just for illustrative purposes.
So, assuming we see an influx of new investors how should they be treated? It is unrealistic (at least in my opinion) for the NBB to personally know or interview every new investor/poster. So what does that mean? Should they automatically come to our side as Beachboys?
We should have some road rules so to speak to keep
things sane if nothing else.
MM- you are the boards most level headed poster. Should there be something like a probationary period and is that feasible? What do you think?
