So when you exchange 100 loyalty points for $10 worth of gambit tokens (see swagbucks) thats their $10. The loyalty company pays gambit that $10 just like it would the $10 starbucks gift card you might have taken with your points had you selected that.
b. They make money as pointed out by sellign gambit incentives to their clients for their own programs - so instead of giving you $5 in paypal for buying 12 boxes you can get $5 in gambit tokens. Now they keep the $5 as revenue!
