The Lone Nut No one believed me on the Apple setback.
No one believed me on the ITS setbacks. No one thought that margins would collapse.
No one believed me that QTRH paid 20X EBITDA for ETC.
No one believed me that ITS appears to be a very inflation sensitive business. And inflation is raging.
No one believed me that WiLan revenue would be less than $5M
No one believed me that the Proxy circular foreshadowed disastrous results.
No one believed me that they would not start an NCIB at these levels.
No one believed me that this stock could trade below $2.
No one believes my $1.29 price target.
......
Remember this:
"It seems abrupt, it doesn't seem like an orderly transition. I am just wondering if you can assure us that the financial results of IRD & ETC are tracking to your prior expectations and this change doesn't have anything to do with missed financial targets"
- Todd Coupland, CIBC (Dec 15, 2021 Strategic Update)
And don't you remember John Gillberry's response? Didn't he say something to the effect that "I can absolutely assure you that it does not"
....
Well, analysts relied on that statement. Then all of you relied on the analysts reports that did not cut the financial targets.
Then today happened... so when he made that statement with two weeks to go in the quarter... how could he assure that the results were not tracking to prior expectations when he made that statement. When today happened?
So the question I have now is, who is going to start a shareholder lawsuit?
George?
