Obsidian Energy Ltd. is a Canada-based exploration and production company. The Viking is a light oil, horizontal development play located in central Alberta. Its operations are focused on the Esther area. Peace River is a stable, cold-flow, base production asset. It operates on a contiguous and an acreage within the heart of the Peace River Oilsands region.

Not much to worry about at today's oil price. OBE has had huge gains and doing a little consolidating latley and the energy always volatile at best. When stocks are making high percentage swings daily they should be traded imo. Haved done very well tading OBE, VET, BTU, AAV and TOU lately. I own a few other energy names as well and just swap them out to take advantage of of disconnection in daily moves.
