RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Keep the big picture in mindFor me the carbon tax of Trudeau's govt is a cash grab, particularly when it comes to natgas. Their target is easy, adding 2.03c/Gj to every household using natgas thru the gas bill and this when their own report states that they do not expect natgas prodn and use to decline in the next 2 decades, Even beyond 2050 it will be substantial. On top of this you have Provinces like BC stating that they are going to use 50% of their revs from this source to fund the Prov health program... how does that reduce reliance n natgas!!!! Aaaaargh!!!! And to add insult to injury they even charge gst/pst on the carbon tax (and other levy) amounts. Trudeau (and the Provinces) have put debt to GDP over 100% (Trudeau used to proudly boast the Fed debt to GDP was lowest in G7 when it was below 6%. Now it's about 85%). Ok we had/have COVID, but their spending is just outlandish and today they tell us to expect more debt as they join officially with the NDP who, if in power, wuld have put that ratio to 150% I am certain.
