RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Working on something big... Short term price movements don't affect long term investors but short term price movements are an OBVIOUS issue for the management team. Especially when a lot of the non-public covenants with respect to their loans might be affected by a certain price that could cause the lenders to say the deal is off and demand payment (even though this is extreme and would usually only happen prior to insolvency but apart from that unlikely scenario I think you are glossing over the fact that they are currently battling short traders and they want to see them cover. Apart from that consideration they are concerns for their investors and want to reassure them (even though their investors don't have to worry because the business is solid) many of them might be liable to sell because of irrational fear (encouraged by some on this board and other boards) as well as the fact that many investors have piled in over the last year and may be seeing losses on this great investment.
there are plenty of good reasons for the announcements they have made but good job of trying to turn a good strategy and a signal that everything is doing really well into some signal that should throw doubt on the entire operation.
