Day 8

Day 8A very short review toda...... I think birds and re vegetation went well with minimal recommendations. Boreal Caribou are endangered species with high risk of extinction in the area. Even though I still believe that ECCC is still trying to find solutions rather than one obstacles they seem to disagree with how the EIS approached this topic. Better offset measures, clear risk assessment on the impact the project might have on the Caribou habitat. much improved connectivity ( nort- South East West unobstructed travel foe the Caribou population) were recommended by ECCC. GenPgm will be given the opportunity to state their view on the matter tomorrow. Even though I consider this a bump I believe that if all parties collaborate which is the case appropriate steps will be taken in order to satisfy all parties.
