Wilkinson must believe that more oil can be produced by sprinkling fairy dust, just like the globalists believe a transition to renewables can happen overnight as an answer to Putin's war.   I thought just maybe the Libs were coming to their senses and we're going to announce increased funding to finish trans-mountain or perhaps a new LNG terminal on the east coast .... instead all Wilkinson offered is more rhetoric.

When oil hits $150 this summer, the gullible Canadian public will be blaming the "greedy oil companies" instead of realizing this has been a government-created problem.  Most Canadians have proven themselves to be idiots.

If I'm an energy company, there's no way I invest big dollars into expanding production until the hypocrites in Ottawa stop playing politics and start actually investing themselves in the infrastructure needed to get the product to market.

They need to make Ottawa come out and publicly declare Oil and Gas as good.
They need to make Ottawa come out and state that they will support Oil and gas and pipelines.
They need to get rid of environmentalists in their cabinet. They need to get rid of or cap carbon tax.

You really think this is going to happen?

Maybe. Thats one way of looking at it.
Could it also be that if Cdn companies actually came to the rescue that their profits would not find a special surtax on them?
Keep in mind that the libtards are in bed with the NDP. The NDP would love to impose a special tax on any business that produces a profit. We already heard the words come out of the mouth of JAGMEAT about imposing surtaxes on Oil, whilst the Turd mentioned the banks.

I respect your knowledge. You and I have been posting on this board for many years....
Cheers!
