No More Deadline Traps, prophetoffact(s)
No More Deadline Traps, prophetoffact(s) pof posts deadline traps and it needs to stop.
For instance, instead of posting what the Daiiichi Sankyo (DS) study might mean, or how it might unfold, his posts emphasize the expectant date. If the date is missed then he'll go all negative about it, dragging other trolls along with him.
He's done this for years. He quoted Mark Day's projections for a year or two after he was gone, long after we knew the projections wouldn't work out.
With DS it's very possible, maybe even likely, that the date is in the agreement to force DS to get the work done without delay because another player may be involved. At the very least, Bioasis doesn't need any delays.
There's also the possibility that when the work does get done time will be needed to assess the work, plan new work, negotiate terms if the participants desire, or any other things that are required to move things along - in secret, more than likely.
poof does not deal with any of these possibilities. He tries to set it up so that there will be concern and outrage if the date is "missed," and he will lead the charge. This is what I mean by a "deadline trap."
