The basis of the thesis that "intelligent investors should not widely diversify" comes down to the ability to fully understand a business, the macro context, and its ability to succeed in the future.
There is of course the backdrop that generally he likes to buy into a business to hold for (ever?) a very long time. Of course there are exceptions.
So it comes down to whether you think you are an intelligent investor, and then how long you plan on holding.
