It makes sense because any time a company intendeds to make significant purchases of any of its securities, it can affect prices so it needs to be controlled by the SEC. in any event, I think sherritt is cash strapped, Cuba is cash strapped because any money MOA generates they desperately need it to feed thier people. And sherritt is living in lala land planning to spend $80 million on a MOA facility facelift while it's PIK debt is growing rapidly and its other debts aren't being reduced....they have too much debt for a company this size. And it wouldn't surprise me if these are the reasons the market only pays 73 cents for it. Poorly managed company and has been for years
