RE:Interesting Opinion ArticleInteresting but I don't expect China will support the nickel sanction on Russia if the west fully implements it. Like Iranian oil, it will find a way to China. They can't resist a bargain and Russia can't afford to stockpile or shutdown. High metal prices also always lead to higher scrap harvesting and recycling. Inventories are already low and tightening from the 5-8% demand growth so I don't disagree with the conclusion. I'm bullish on nickel due to the tight market as is with the bonus spurt coming from EV/battery demand plus Covid recovery in traditional end use demand in USA and Europe , and the new kid, the inflation of everything "real". Too bad the cdn mining industry has been completed gutted.
