Canoe EIT Income Fund (the Fund) is a Canada-based closed-end investment trust. i received the eit.un t3 this morning and almost all the income is capital gains. basically the same as return of capital with the only difference being the tax gets declared this year rather than when you sell. that could be a good thing if justin raises the rate of taxation on capital gains in the future.
