RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WHO's SELLING ??

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WHO's SELLING ??Thanks StratCap.
Just recently started changing my RSP over to dividend paying stocks.
Ity's a little confusing.

Doman's news release states they:

"declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.03 per share and an additional $1.20 per share as a special dividend on the issued and outstanding Common Shares of the Company, both payable on April 14, 2022 to holders of record at the close of business on March 31, 2022."

Just got off the phone wit a TD Webbroker agent who told me that shareholders who sold their shares today would not be eligible to receive the dividends, but those who sold tomorrow would be .. because it takes 2 days to settle the trades. (in which case, I'm not sure why today's sellers wouldn't be eligible.
I had oringinally planned on checked the price ist thing April first before deciding whether to sell or hold.

Does the above make sense ?
