New vanadium plant in Finland targets 5% of global supply by the end of 2024

A joint venture between Australian companies Critical Metals and Neometals in Pori, Finland will target 5% of global vanadium pentoxide production by the end of 2024.

The Vanadium Recovery Project (VRP) will produce vanadium to be used in grid-scale vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFB), specialty steel applications and next-generation lithium-vanadium cells.
