Ensuing is an interesting choice of words...Let's review this week's news.
First-Scott Petsel's promotion to president, which I am sure he deserves. That seems like a piece of good news. But when I read the release carefully the word
Ensuing caught my eye. Check it out and the context that it implies:
We expect 2022 to be a* pivotal year for the Company and we have significant and substantive news to deliver over the ensuing weeks, including the Company's inaugural resource estimate at La Plata and a robust and dynamic field exploration season on all three of the Company's projects." So I go to the dictionary and explore the possible meanings of the word Ensuing. That word seems to imply we can expect a further wait for the obvious Elephant in the room- the extremely tardy drill results from Keno Hill. The failure to mention anything about Keno is fairly disappointing. Hey folks, sorry to be critical but I got to call it like, I see it.
Second- Yesterday's announcement- "in accordance with the Company's Long-Term Performance Incentive Plan" stock option grants. What? How about drill results first, then announce the option grants. Right after the Fantastic, Terrific & Amazing silver grades that MMG has DISCOVERED and finally shares that "pivotal" information with the folks that pay their salaries, benefits, and a whole lot more. The cadence of news flow is a bit perplexing!
