Presentation yesterdayI watched the presentation at Radius Research yesterday and thought it was very informative. A few points that were highlighted:
1) They have good line of sight on adding two new plants every year up to 2024, and after that they have line of sight on four new plants per year. So their strategy is multiplying.
2) They've been discussing a dividend, and that may be in the cards sometime soon. It was poined out that they're not a capital intensive business, and once they're generating enough recurring revenue throughout the year (and have a cash reserve built up) there's little reason not to return the excess capital to shareholders. They also mentioned that R&D is often funded by government agencies to solve a particular problem (likely in the form of grants), so they don't even spend much on that.
3) No immediate plans for a stock split, but no completely closed to the idea.
4) Emphasized they have a young team that will be around for a while, which makes me think a merger or buyout is unlikely. As I suspected, it sounds like they have a bigger vision to solve problems across many sectors and countries. Being bought out by a larger company might hamper that.
5) Reading between the lines, it sounds like they have plans to announce some new plant contracts in the near future.
