Steel & steel related products have always been somewhat cyclical. .. & perhaps seasonal in that 2nd & 3rd Quarters are generally the strongest.
I don't, however, think your comparison is very meaningfull.
There's really no comparison between steel prices in 2020 & 2021.
In 2020, their EPS was 18 cents for the entire year. TSL made more in only the 1st Q of 2021 - 22 cents per share.
Also, a huge part of TSL's net earnings in 4th Q 2021 were due to the gain on the land sale.
Ist Quarter will be very interesting.
