I think that, at this point, we are looking not to compete and replace Li battteries, but compete and replace ICE. As you memtioned, Li batteries did not reached their potential, solid state will make them even better. ICE on other hand is going down, but this is still giant market, about 93% of all cars; this is great news - a lot of space to expand for everyone.
I believe, there will be several type of batteries, plus hydrogen. Some will compete with each other, other willf find niche, like bikes or ships. Maybe some ICE will survive too.
Energy storage will be hugely expanded with further expansionn of greener energy.
In short, demand for better batteries will be permanent and GMG look like in great position to compete. Will see.
