A while back , when the bomber started talking about shareholder value , the ultimate goal was to bring back the dividend ( even if it minor)  to help the shareholders gain back some lost value .. with a reverse split they can issue a higher dividend per share with the reverse share split done ...it gives a boost to the share price ... I've just seen it with Coca-Cola ...$.02 extra have kept the share price fluctuating and climbing ... it creates interest and demand for the shares ..obviously the 2 companies can't be compared but the basic fundamentals and principals of share demand are the same ... we are not there yet but that's the goal IMO... but imo , consolidation will increase share price + show better earning per share + and with more earning per share management can start to pay dividants

all of the above, conso. fcf, higher sh.p,, higher earning per share, deividants will with no doubt bringing many buyers single investores and institutions (long bbd)

all of the above will raise bbd to a different and higher level

also will help gain better image for bbd,, we sell best bus jets and sh price is 1.50 !!! does not make sense and does not look good

sh price is low because of debts accured because of c series delay,,,etc,,

now, no more c series, debts are being paid, time to bring sh. price to where it is suppose to be for a company of that caliber

please correct me if i am wrong
