RE:RE:RE:RE:What a superstar anchor in a portfolioHey Red

I hope all is going well for you in the investing world and down on the Island in general.

These markets are sure unpredictable. I keep expecting some sort of correction but they just keep chugging away. We hit another all time portfolio value high both yesterday and today. (must be about the 20th this year so far).

Hitting a high today is quite interesting in that the TSX is down -0.65% but we're up +0.53%. Same thing yesterday as we were up +0.34%. Good couple days for AQN,BCE,CPX,EMA,FTS,KEY,T, and TRP. Love those divy guys!!

Now that AQN is back on track with getting all the needed funding for the dumb Kentucky Power purchase, we're really pleased with our 4 utils and not really interested in venturing into another one. Also, I did work for TransAlta back in the day and never really liked how they did business.

Having said that, I actually think that the utils still have more room to run. They got spamked a bit with the initial interest rate stuff and have been bouncing back. Also, many investors are piling into the safer dividend stocks.

As usual with today's market, this should be interesitng to watch,
