The Company is engaged in the evaluation, exploration, development and production of industrial mineral properties in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Company’s principal asset is the Great Atlantic salt deposit project (Great Atlantic Salt Project), located in the St. George Basin of western Newfoundland. Its Gypsum Project is three kilometers (km) southwest of Great Atlantic salt deposit, which is an early-stage and open-pit production from the Ace deposit. Its Nepheline Syenite Property consists of a surface occurrence of nepheline syenite along the southern Labrador highway. The project is located approximately six km from tide water.

RE:RE:I know everyone has seen this...but just in case you didn't ...and you also are correct in saying, "... I agree, SALT isn't subject to the same market pressures as gold, silver, colbalt, uranium, and oil, it is in a class of its own, and will endure the test of time as sure as salt will be needed for winter to get rid of the ice from the roads and make them safee for many years to come. An excellent value proposition from all perspectives."

It actually reminds me of when I was in my water well drilling career tangent.   Some things you just can't skimp on or place budgetary cuts and constraints on.  You either need it, regardless of what the economic forecast is, or you find out what you can do without really!  Last time I checked water was a very basic necessity....as is de-icing salt.  It doesn't take long to figure out what we can do without and what's untouchable!
