Yeah well, as there is no indication of a deal until it's announced, whether we are there or not is mere speculation, as is whether or not the assets are a fit or even if GXE will entertain an offer.

The overall accumulation of fact as opposed to idle speculation points to ~ 81 million shares trading hands in the past month at prices above $1.50. A good indication of interest in GXE.

As capital inflows target the larger producers first and restrictions on institutional funds exclude lower priced entities, the little players like Gear get ignored. Gear gets left behind, languishing under a buck. But, as opportunities dwindle when valuations rise, the laggards with good metrics like Gear suddenly attract fast money who see a quick buck.
