YGT Well received .. Based on what What I have seen Gerald and Joe were well received here in to town at the town hall. Fairly good turn out. I had a chance to meet him and yes folks my opinion the guy is real and he has a plan for us shareholders.... nothing really new stated but we cannot expect that at this event at this time. I found interesting that it appears he has thought out this mill thing and is heavily leaning toward a mill to the north and the haul idea from con. Proximity to Snare and blue fish hydro seem to be governing factors...more so snare it's seems, he stated that earlier in the day he met with Tlicho, who apparently own snare, and that opened doors for future talks of the power needed and expansion possibilities and who knows what kinda partnerships could unfold from that!
there were people who had concerns with existing trails and cabins and he reminded them that it's a bit early to talk about that but the in due course they will consulated and adapt to community concerns, people were happy with that thinking. GP presented the latest corporate presentation so it's all up front at this stage.
couple of things I noticed and actually expected to some degree, some of the older drillers and tech people who worked at con showed up ....clearly Gerald got there names and contact info right there cause they had great information based on thier history at the mine. Gerald's response to them was most intriguing.....let's just say from what I heard there is good things down there and that is based on what they know and experienced lol and I would say that Gerald has added resource ( people) to work with as he develops this program.
he fed and watered the crowd which was about 70% or so of capacity and was great to see. Nothing of negative environmental. Some city couselors along with MLAs attesnded, but I don't know exactly how many. We will see how the news presents this and I will be watching carefully on that front. All in all folks good for us.
