RE:RE:2.95$ confidence buildingWhile I agree that THTX does not do enough to help their stock, and rarely has over the years, I do not think you should be thinking another 20% lower is in the cards. We know why the stock is acting awful- there is a large seller who is selling for non-fundamental reasons and until those sales are finished up, the stock price is not going to be something that brings cheer to investors on a consistent basis. I suspect yesterday they took the day off from selling to give it a break and that is why is was up a decent amount then. My guess is you were not as distraught yesterday as today but you should not let the stock price's moves on a daily basis tear you up too much. It may seem like it means something but it often is just an illiquid situation where there is a temporaray imbalance of buyers and sellers. Remember when my froned recommended the stock on FOx Business last Fall and it shot up on that - it goes both ways.
It is also worth remembering that THTX has a knack for falling right before good news. There is no explanation for that but it has happened alot over the years. When Egrifta went before the Adivisory panel of the FDA the stock tanked because people thought the FDA 's dossier for the meeting indicated they did not like the drug. The panel instead voted 17-0 in favor of approval and the stock instantly recovered. Before they announced the Trogarzo deal (which no one saw coming) the stock was dogging it. And in the days leading up to the Trogarzo FDA approval, the stock was also being sold off. So, here we sit not too far ahead of what will most likely be good news at some level on cancer and the stock is selling off again because a large client with a lot of shares changed money managers and the new manager does not know what THTX is and does not want it in their portfolio.
It is certainly weird but in all those cases the stock rose significantly following the good news.

I didn't think this stock could go lower and now it has. At the rate we've been declining, it's not impossible to imagine it dropping another 20% if we get the same type of earnings call in a few days as we've seen before and no new news before end of May, this is going from worse to an absolute tragedy. Obviously more and more investors are throwing in the towell and moving on to something else. Who can blame them when they don't have enough information from our leadership to stay engaged? And every day the stock drops makes it look even worse than it really is. Because of wonder, speculation, and doubt, you see a stock dropping, you assume it's for good reason and everyone else must know something we don't. That's true even if it's not true. THTX management has got to get engaged in a meaningful and consistent manner.
