The shares are so cheap. 

we do have a poison pill in place.

Gold miners face depleting reserves, high geopolitical risk: Gold analyst John Ing

John Ing, president and CEO of Maison Placements, tells BNN Bloomberg that as bigger gold miners scout for acquisitions, the good companies have already been snapped up and there are fewer chairs left in the M&A musical chairs. He notes that gold reserves are depleting, and the reserves held by many medium and small-sized miners are fraught with high geopolitical risk. Ing says deals and mergers between equals would make sense for investors.
