  • Gastown does have a very valid point and I do agree with that point.

  • But this is NOT Almonty's fault, this is ours.  This is because of our lack of knowledge and experience with investing in any mining industry. But where are you going to get that knowledge?  Either you learn something in University and then are fortunate to work for an investment firm that specializes in mining investment so you pick up how industries work. Or someone mentors you, Or you learn from the school of hard knocks (i.e. experience).  So did many of us get schooled? Yeah we sure did, including me. But are we going to make this mistake again....hell no. We all learned an invaluable lesson and that is important. We just learned one of the hidden rules of investing.
  • Furthermore, if we all research past mines and how long it takes to get them up and running, well it takes 10 years on average......Well, Almonty took 10 years, so it is within the average. We could have been up a few years earlier if LB accepted the outrage interest rates some were offering on the loans, but LB made the right decision and set us on an awesome growth path.
  • We don't have to like how long it took to unfold, but WE choose to keep our investment in this company. We had the choice to leave at any time.
  • We have to make decisions based upon logic and not emotional ones.
  • Don't every cry over spilt milk. Clean it up, learn from your mistakes, and move on.
  • If something causes you to carry negative feelings internally, get rid of it. It is only going to grow like a cancer and consume you. That is all you will remember feeling in your older years. Instead, you should be thinking about the hardship of the journey, what you learned, and how you survived.  Society makes us focus on the reward or the goal and that is the only objective.  I am telling you it is the journey that matters most because the end reward means nothing without what you put into the journey.
