RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:KPMG: Transitioning to the green economy !!!https://globalnews.ca/news/5416659/what-is-bill-c69-pipelines/
In summary, the Liberals added nearly 400 pages of extra regulations to energy infrastructure companies through Bill C-69, which include a provision that the “intersection of sex and gender and other identity factors” must be considered when determining the viability of a new energy or mining project.
Then, we heard back from Catherine McKenna's Environment and Climate Change Ministry. McKenna has the final say on whether or not one of these industry projects would be given the go ahead, and we found out that her ministry had conducted no research on whether job losses would occur.
The Ministry did suggest that we contact Canadian Energy Regulator — and we did. And we found the same thing.
No research.
The Liberals passed a bill designed to deter investment in pipelines and energy projects without a single written thought on whether it might be bad for the economy in Alberta.

Drilling for NG and Planning to frill for NG are two different things and NG does not power rockets.
Quebec is anit-pipeline not the LIBs. IDF know why and IDF care. It's their province surely they have a say about what and how it travels through it.
Fine Musk is right, about this:
In 2018, Elon Musk sounded like an ardent champion of the environment when he declared “climate change is the biggest threat that humanity faces this century.” He had already backed up that concern by building two very successful companies capable of directly reducing carbon emissions: Tesla and Solar City. You like quotes? Here is one that Thomas Edison said to Henry Ford and Harvey Firetone:
"We are like tenant farmers chopping down the fence around our house for fuel when we should be using nature's inexhaustible sources of energy — sun, wind, and tide."
"I’d put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don’t have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that.”
These stocks dont hate ESG, just you, beacause you're stupid, and you wouldn't know which way the wind was blowing if your own piss was all over your own pants.
No one made them join an ESG alliance. They just know its good business.
CVE knows that ESG is just good business as do most smart O&G companies.

If newfie oil is canadian oil, why the anti pipeline, why the anti tarsand, why the anti tanker in the west coast from truedough? Your talk of it's all canadian oil doesn't match up to your dear leader truedough anti western oil motive.
i don't like ESG just like ALL canadian oil and gas operators don't like it but had to comply for legal resason. I own oil and gas stock because O/G operators are inline with my thought on disliking ESG, unlike you liking ESG but own stocks that dislike ESG. Your twisted logic of owning SU, CVE, MEG, etc show how hypocrite you are.
Yah, richest CEO on earth is wrong again.
Yah, sending billions in cash, gun, ammo, supplies have no influence in the russia-ukraine war.
You're a certified liberal hypocrite

Quintessential1 wrote: Quoting Elon Musk? Who is the hypocrit now? The guy burning rocket fuel like there is no tomorrow is worried that it might offset his EV carbon footprint and he may not be considered the saviour of the planet anymore? Go figure.
"Nefwie oil", just like Alberta oil, is Canadian oil. It will fill Canadian coffers and contribute to equalization payments for have-not provinces.
If you don't like ESG why do you own CVE? They do belong to the Oil Sands Pathways to Net Zero Alliance right? You had better not own or buy SU or MEG or CNQ or IMO. Hell it looks like i have MORE reason to own these stocks than you do. Are they all just paying lip service to ESG or is it just good business and Musk just might be wrong...again.
Canada has no influence over Russia or the rest of the globe for that matter. Never has and probably never will.
Taking care of Canada is what we are best at and helping where and when we can. CVE's Bay Du Nord may get up and riunning in time to help the EU. It will most certainly be up and running to help NLers and Canadians. It will definately help CVE.

Canada sent billions to Ukraine already and more to follow, feeding the war machine of NATO and prolonging the russia-ukraine war and suffering. Zelenky and JT are bosom buddies now. Who doesn't like a friend who shove you money and guns?

Yes a proud Liberal that gets prouder everytime he sees the whack jobs that belong to the right and
their half baked conspiracy theories theories.
You guys can't even be happy when you win. Approval given for Bay Du Nord: What's the catch?
LOL
