RE:RE:Pieridae requesting authority to export LNG to CanadaRight, No new info. This is about PEA applying for an extension on the deadline for comencing to export gas from the US.
If you follow the document chain you will come to the 2016 US DOE Export License. And buried in the 240 page document
https://www.energy.gov/sites/prod/files/2016/02/f29/ord3768.pdf you will find the clause where they can only export what they can get through existing pipelines- they cannot be the cause of any applications for capacity expansions. That ended Sorensen's Plan A. But they need an extension now just to be able to buy and transport Marcellus gas, as a supplement to most of the gas coming from Alberta.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Re: Pieridae Energy (USA) Ltd., FE Docket No 14-179-LNG - Extension Request-Follow-up Call Request
Good afternoon Peri,
I would like to thank you all for taking the time to meet with me and discuss the request.
Please could the application for an extension request be placed in abeyance for the time being so that we may define the project’s scope and description with more certainty. Once we have certainty on any alterations or revisions to the Goldboro LNG project we shall revert to you.
It was a pleasure to meet you all and your time was greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Justine
