Correct--always good for the balance sheet to pay off debt;---but oversimplification, not a panacea for all ills and unforseen challenges. Don't get me wrong--it is good, just saying---sometimes a company will announce a nugget like this only to follow up with something not so nice. Time will tell, and I hope it's as good as face value, no negative follow up news. IMO
