Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

RE:RE:Operations Update

RE:RE:Operations Update IMO we need operational updates in the form of a news release.  The Adelaide Capitol digital newsletters are of questionable value as the one referenced has been out for 5 days and has been seen by only 375 people at this point.  One must watch it to realize that Surge is even mentioned as there is nothing in the title to indicate who is covered.  I just think a news release would get many more eyeballs and at zero cost.

And,since I'm here.   A few weeks ago I read an article where the author had computed the NAV of certain oils if WTI were $100.  I penciled his figures on a list of my oils, which of course includes Surge .The figure he gave for Surge was slightly over $45. I would like to revisite the article but have no recollection of where I saw it.  Any help to steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
