Friendly merger for Kinross, Redback Mining. In a US$7.1 billion deal that would give ... Red Back hits new high on drill results from Tasiast, Chirano ..

Highly unlikely that a major gold company would pay more than $5 billion dollars for this property or any other mineral property for that matter. Yes the in ground metal value could eventually be worth tens of billions of dollars but a major won't pay that much. They have shareholders to answer too and that is a lot of money / equity to fork out for an undeveloped deposit even if it is one of the best around. Past acquisitions prove that I'm correct on this for the most part. Of course if a lot more gold is discovered and the price of gold goes to $3000 plus an ounce than perhaps a major will pay more. But at $2000 an ounce and somewhere between 5 million and 10 million ounces I think the most a major will pay is $5 billion. Sorry but I call it the way I see it.

Mega Mega what am I going to do with you? Now that you have your minions I guess

you might have to change your name to Groot?

As I see it
