Also product carriers tend to be smaller size (30-50 ktons) or 250,000 to 450,000 barrels. Their cost for long distance routes on these carriers are much higher. On top of all that port restrictions due to draft, air draft, width and many other factors are not always accomodating. It is rather hard for me to see how this could be a big factor in offsetting Russian direct crude to Europe decreases.
