Chalice is better than Canopy Growth as an investment

Chalice is better than Canopy Growth as an investmentChalice is a better investment than Canopy Growth.
  • Market capitalization is <1% of Canopy Growth (CHAL is CAD$25.5 million vs. WEED at CAD$3,400 million)
  • Gross profit in most recent quarter is 45% of Canopy Growth  (CHAL is US$3.6 million per press release Feb 24 2022 vs. WEED C$10.09 million)
  • Revenue growth rate is faster at CHAL  (CHAL Q4 21 / Q4 20 = 61% growth vs. WEED growth minus 8.76% for quarter ended Dec 31 2021)
  • Both companies have exposure to the US multi state operator market, but it's 100% of Chalice Brands, giving greater exposure to the possibility of US de-scheduling in the future.
A strong case could be made to sell Canopy Growth to buy Chalice Brands.
