RE:RE:FDA authorizes Covid-19 test using breath samplesIdk, do people even care about Covid anymore? Like masks/mandates are gone whether you have the shot or not, or whether you have Covid or not.. people are still out and about. You would have to change the cartridge way to frequent with the amount of people I am sure are walking around in public with the infection.. even if it cost $5 a cartridge, the amount of times you would be changing that would be nuts at this rate.
Apparently 82% of Canada is fully vaccinated and nearly 50% have the booster shot as well. So what's the point other than to know it's in the area so you can do sanitary cleaning which places should be doing as a routine anyway. Eg.. theres 1.21 Million cases to date in Ontario, imagine a business that has people coming and going in Ontario at even 2000 infected people a month at even $5 a cartridge.. that's still 10k a month for something you can't even do anything about at this point. I was all for the success of Biocloud before the entire country as nearly fully vaccinated as a lot of people weren't going to get it in the beginning bc no one trusted it, then it got to the point where many work places made it mandatory, now it's been lifted and heres the current stats. Maybe the product will have better success in another country.. but places in Canada can't afford to spend that kind of money unless there were incentives and rebates being given out.
