Acuvid is small, can be carried/distributed in large numbers. Can be used at social/sporting events. Can be used at airports, etc. Not knocking the breathalzer. But it is for use in clinical/hospital settings only. It is large (suit case size) and can ONLY do a few tests per week. AND it is expensive. No compaison between the two at all.
I agree with you Barnie that we can't compare the breathalyzer and AcuVid device wise. My point was more on the timelines on getting EAU approval, if it took the breathalyzer since August 2022, how long would it take Acuvid? Longer or shorter time, thus me saying I'm I comparing apples and oranges. They do the same thing but with totally different devices. Is it easier to approve Acuvid is the question.
