I couldn't disagree more with this statement.

It is patently false.

I have never even once encountered a retail trader who establishes a position in a stock for the very first time by shorting it.

That's a rhetorical question.... No. you haven't.

It just doesn't happen.

The more eyes on Xebec the better.

If new eyes choose to enter the fray, it will be on the buy side.
