Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

I listened to this interview twice and I'm not impressed with it. Good for Nuttall getting on American TV but the interviewer implied we're growing here in the US but it's OPEC that's not growing. He referenced the EIA calling for 13m a day next year and I don't think that Eric addressed that as clearly as he should. Nuttall did mention supply shortages in labour and steel constraining growth, what he didn't say was that that those supply shortages are most likely going to result in the US not hitting the production growth that the EIA is calling for.
This was a typical American heading the sand "it's everybody else, not us" interview and I suppose that's great for us as investors, but I would have rather seen that statement challenged more forcefully
