RE:Why is Canfor trading at 2x PE?

RE:Why is Canfor trading at 2x PE? They are good operators like WFG is.  But one has insanely awful capital allocation and the other doesn't.

I'm betting CFP's shameful legacy of value destruction may end... signs show it finally changed with their small but persistent buyback action this March.  Keep it up.

Issue is execs have zero equity right.  And JP has 50% plus so he doesn't care at best, and actively is a force that keeps the share price down at worst.

Anyway I've bought $20k in long calls as I think the options are mispriced and when they goes... it'll GO.  The discount is insane.  JP needs to, you know, not get sued... so the malfeasence can only be so great before they have to run the business in a halfa$$ intelligent manner.

[All in on M&A.... jeez guys.  What a brutal and inane stategy that is given they are pi$$ poor at M&A w.r.t. IFP and WFG. Don can bearly say this with a straight face these days.  Something is afoot and I intend to make some 100-200% on it (inshallah lol) in 2022.]
