RE:RE:UTA Voices Podcast Episode with Dr. McFarland now availableThank's Eoganacht...
At the 36.20 time; Dr.McFarland said " We are using green light because it doesn't penetrate through the bladder muscles layers, because we don't want to compromise the bladder function".
Safety for the patient is a big priority for TLT cancer treatment.
The patients and the FDA must like that part.
A treatment that has a very high safety profile is much more likely to be Fast Forward by the FDA.
BTD is coming.

And then once that period has elapsed then we bring in green light through fibre optics right into the bladder - illuminate for - the time depends on the individual patient's bladder size, scarring and those sorts of things. But it could be up to an hour. And then hopefully after one treatment the tumours are eradicated. In this particular clinical trial we're doing two treatments 180 days apart just to be on the safe side...but so far so good..."
