Confirmed news
7 months into fiscal year an 18% increase in sales year over year already
Increased agri production costs - fertilizer 2x, fuel 40% and severe weather but....
"Despite these extreme weather events, coupled with the dramatic rise in fertilizer, chemical and fuel costs, BVT has successfully retained the same level of sales year-over-year in Georgia,"
In the works
New markets being pursued
"This includes activity for additional acres that our Pacific Coast sales team is working aggressively to secure. This region is responsible for the production of one-third of all blueberries grown in the United States and we are in active discussions with some of the USA's largest berry growers. This, in the long run, represents a bigger opportunity for us compared to the Southeast."
Thoughts -
BVT isn't marketing fashion products. BVT is a positive market disruptor with one agricultural objective... more and better food.
People have to eat.
The tech BVT offers agriculture has consistently proven a significant decrease in crop disease and increased crop harvest. How crucial is this going to be going forward?
I really like how this company lays out a plan to shareholders then actually executes it. So far, I do not see smoke and mirrors like with so many listed equities.
When a company makes statements and actually follows through, it instills massive confidence in the company. Most drink their own Kool Aid and make comments that are clearly delusional but I do not see that here. I think the CEO is genuine when he speaks (I never say that) and that he absolutely knows his stuff. That part is clear.
Re: the CNSX move....maybe it was a mistake. It looks like it probably was since there is next to nil liquidity and no movement in the share price really. On the flip side, any CEO that worries about it's share price is one to be avoided in my opinion. They should be focused on the business and the rest will take care of itself but it could take awhile for shareholders to realize upside most likely via a buyout or listing on a better exchange. Or, maybe they need more substantial revenues before anyone makes a move to buy in here. Probably a combination thereof.
