RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:power rankings

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:power rankingsHey Sarge,

thanks for a more detailed explanation of your personal power rankings.

It certainly looks like ENB got hosed on mainline contracts although I don't think they are quite settled yet so we'll see what comes of it in the end.

Even though Line 5 is an on going issue I don't think it has been in a more secure position since I have owned ENB since I don't think there is a snowball's chance in hell they would shut it down right now and it is still pumping every day.

I certainly hope TC get's that coastal gas link up and going as it can only pave the way for more LNG projects on the west coast and since ENB just bought the Paciffic Trail Pipeline rights it may prove fruitfull here in the future.

PPL made an excellent deal with KKR and they cartainly needed it after losing out to Brookfield on  the bid to acquire IPL,  Bookfield is trading at ATHs with that one and the Heartland Complex is set to start 2H of this year so maybe with IPLs success PPL can finally take their PP plant out of the mothballs.

Glad you are not selling here as I just love your positive updates.

Go Enbridge! ;-)

PPL is #1 because they made an unbelievable deal with KKR. Whne I heard the news, I was thinking it was almost too good to be true.

TRP is #2 as Coastlink is getting closer to completion.

KEY is #3 because KAPS is getting cloer to completion and most of the funding issues have now been taken care of.

ENB is #4 becuase they got hosed on the Mainline contracts and Line 5 is going to be an issue for years to come.

As mentioned, we have an equal book weight in each and have no near term plans to sell anything. The midtsream space has been a great spot to be in for the last year+ and we aren't done yet.

Ciao

That being said it appears that the power ranking may coincide with YTD share price performance as the list seems to be ranked that way.

While PPL is beating ENB in YTD share price performance by 11-12% it is always interesting to note that share price accreation does reduce yield % and PPL did not increase their dividend this year leaving them lagging ENB by .85%.

I am not sure which I would rather have.  Share price accreation or yield but since this is an ENB board?

Go Enbridge! ;-)

I do have ENB(both commons and preferreds) as well as PPL(again commons and preferreds), which keep me off the streets and out of pool halls, and keeps CRA happy, thank you.
