RE:RE:Monday trading in Canada and OTC in US will be interesting Monday trading (canada opening without overnight London trades due to different holiday schedules) was not eventful.
Redponse to Josef Schachter's 2 minute blurb was prett impressive.
Sidetrack plan for Royston one has been publicly disclosed by the company. Makes total sense since the well bore is full of junk. They will sidetrack at about 7000 feet, by pass all the junk, and produce 500-1000 bopd from intermediate sheet (no water) rather than 75 bopd (from 300 barrels of produced fluids that is 75% water. Makes total sense. They will also learn more about the reservoir by long term test of the intermediate zone from a clean drill and completion. Makes total sense.
Ask Xavier and his team whether horizontal wells make sense at Royston. Depends on geology and on geometry of the reservoir. This is not tight oil in shale. It is oil in sand with good permeability and porosity, and good pressure -,and requires fewer wells with good natural flow, wider drainage zone, no fracking, and shallower declines. Anyway they know a lot about Royston and will know more after extended test of intermediate (with Royston 1-ST) and drilling the subthrust with Royston Deep and hopefully doing extended test of that zone. There is no reason to just say they should do horizontal drilling as best or even reasonable approach.
