Nucor

NucorDon’t know if TSL would consider Nucor a competitor, as Nucor is the behmoth of the steel products industry. But Nucor reported record Q1 today and its shares hit 52 week high. From their earnings report:

“The steel products segment generated increased earnings in the first quarter of 2022 relative to the fourth quarter of 2021 due to continued strong nonresidential construction related demand and expanded profit margins”

On 2022 outlook – “End use market demand remains strong for steel and steel products, and we remain confident that 2022 will be another year of very strong earnings and cash flow for Nucor.”

Very positive for TSL as we approach Q1 reporting.
