Capitulation

CapitulationSeen this type of thing happen before.  I owned a copper stock that was in production,
still is but they were being talked up about bringing another property into production.
Never happened and stock sold off over the next 2 years after a blow off type promotion.
Now it is back to the old highs.

Sometimes after these promotions it can take a few years to finally get everyone out
who bought in during the hype days.  Before the bottom is reached it seems the
stock has to be dragged so low that literally everyone has given up hope.  Most
investors can't stand to see their money being tied up doing nothing for 2 or 3 yrs after
a huge decline and give up and sell.   Insiders know that and they are in a position to
wait you out.   They get cheap options and are sitting on nice salaries paid of course
by you(us).   When they are ready and thats only after there has been a long period of
clean up it all starts again.  I'm sure most investors are aware of how things work but
each of us has to decide where our individual tolerance level is.
