What's going wrong for NL Resource Companies?

What's going wrong for NL Resource Companies?

What's going wrong for Newfoundland and Labrador based gold mining companies?

We have Marathon Gold sliding to one year lows and falling short of investment rating company projections of $4.00 a share.

Instead of trading well over $4.00 a share, Marathon Gold is now trading at just under $2.40 a share.

If that wasn't bad enough, Altius Minerals has lost over 15% of its peak value as it fell from nearly $25.00 a share to just under $21.50 a share.

That too is well below the projected top value at $28.00 a share.

Guess whom we can blame for Altius' decline?  You guess it, Fairfax Financial as they are using their 14% control of the company to bring it down.

What's wrong with our Newfoundland mining companies lately as they should be rewarded for their success, not punished like Altius and Marathon are experiencing now?
