RE:RE:OBE March Estimate Well they are very vague in the press release what commerical transaction is...
I googled that unit number and it takes a person to an OBE presentation in either 2018 or 2019...like first old presentation and it says OBE had like 59% of that unit....
Who knows...OBE could have transferred certain high future reclaimation wells that are still prodcing between 2-20 barels per day to whitecap and somehow in return for this OBE retains current unit ownership.
We really need too see Q1 results and what OBE reports...to have a full handle on this transaction.
I think some poster on here mentioned the "transfers" to whitecap happening.
As obe is in talks for a refinancing...they would lol have incentive to show as best reclamation number as possible as that is so important to the banks.
I dont know for sure.
Strange by model is out. I mean I figured I may be slightly high on NGLS as higher NG prices have incentive too produce abit more NG and less NGLS.
My model shouldnt miss unless a transaction happens. I am taking same numbers they pay royalties on the gov.
And Peace river going to 100% ownership should actually make my model have less error.
The majority of OBE non 100% stuff is in Pembina.
Q1 financials will be interesting. Also how management compensation numbers will effet FCF.
We wont know for sure intil numbers come out.
I agree that Q1 financials should look good. Whatever OBE did with Whitecap likely a very logical reason OBE management team did it...management team has done well...
JohnJBond wrote: According to the last NR the whitecap transfer does not change OBEs ownership stake - ie they are retaining their prior ownership percentage
This means their net production from this area will not be affected by the transfer
The transfer appears to be operational only
That is why their is no cash value reported in this change
